Upcoming platform from google Called Google Stadia will revolutionized the future of Gaming.Google Stadia was showcased at GDC on 19 March.
Vice President of Google Phil Harrison Stated "Our Vision for Google Stadia is simple,One place for all the way we play.It is focused on Gamer,Inspired by Developers and amplified by Youtube"Phil Harrison also briefly explained how Stadia will work.Suppose you are Watching a Trailer of any new game,A "Play Now" Button will seen on the screen and by simply Clicking on the Button,You will be directly bought into the game directly in a browser within 5 seconds.
You will not need a $1000 PC for this,Any PC,Mobile,Tablet and Even TV can run Google Stadia. You can Use Stadia with your Existing Controllers but for enhancing the gaming experiance,Google launched a Controller specifically for Google Stadia.
Basically Google Stadia is just a Cloud network where Any gamer can play any game online anywhere.Guys at Google also said that Stadia will be able to run games at 4K Resolution at 60 FPS with SDR.They also indicated that in the near future,Users will be able to play games at 8K Resolution with 60 FPS on Stadia.
Google and AMD Teamed up to build a GPU for Google Stadia which is 10.7 Teraflops more powerful than the current PS4 Pro (4.2 Teraflops) and Xbox One X (6.0 Teraflops).Google Stadia will be supported by Vulcan,Unreal Engine,Unity and Havoc.
How much is it gonna cost ?
At an estimate, looking at everything Google Stadia offers and the games and features it may support, for the year it will likely cost between $180 – $240 ($15 – $20 a month) at a base level.
Google Stadia boss Phil Harrison confirmed that the platform recommends a connection of 25 megabits per second if you want to run games at 1080p resolutions at 60 frames per second, while if you want the resolution kicked up to 4K, a 30 megabits per second connection is recommended.
