Tencent’s notorious MOBA, Arena of Valor has been making a buzz with its enchanting gameplay and ferocious rivalries that have attracted players from every corner of the world. 

With an increasing number of players, this 5v5 epic battle arena is getting intense with each day, and unless you have a strong lineup of heroes in your arsenal, you’ll be getting knocked over in each battle. In Arena of Valor, there are more than 100 heroes to choose from and for someone that’s entirely new to the genre, it can be a bit of a pickle to form a team of well-balanced heroes that can win you battles. 

But, to make things easier for you, we’ve formatted a tier list in today’s round-up that will help you build your ideal team. The game is divided into 6 different tiers named S, A, B, C, D, and F in descending order, meaning that the heroes in S and A are among the strongest while B and C tiers have average while D and F tiers feature below-average heroes.

S-Tier 

Heros in S-Tier are the most unique and strong creature that walks on the realm and with their inclusion, you will be able to gut your enemies and be crowned the king of the hill. All of these heroes in S-Tier are capable of winning your matches, even against the most fierce opposing sides. Here are the best heroes in S-Tier of Arena of Valor:

Ryoma

Long reach with a high-damage profile and a controlled freak, Ryoma is your best bet against dominating opponents. 

Teemee

A little side gold with the perk of reviving teammates, Teemee with its unique set of skills is a delight to have in your squad. 

Other Heroes:

Keera, Ignis, Hayate, Zip, Zata, Capheny, Wonder Women, Riktor, Butterfly, and Lorion. 

A-Tier 

The heroes in A-Tier are also essential to your squad and they can play a vital role in your victory. If chosen the right ones, A-Tier heroes can significantly increase your chances of getting more wins under your name and bring in more gold and supplies. Effective heroes in A-Tier of Arena of Valor are:

Brunhilda, Quillen, Baldum, Chaugnar, Krixi, Yena, Liliana, Dextra, Krizzix, Thane, Omen, Kriknak, Raz, Slimz, Violet, Allain, Qi, Maloch, Paine, Veres, Bright, and Florentino. 

B-Tier 

Heros in the B-Tier are also quite strong and feature a unique set of skills. However, the damage profile and effectiveness of these heroes are considerably low when compared to the heroes of A and S-Tiers. Nevertheless, if the combination makes sense, the heroes from B-Tiers can win you matches. Here is the list of heroes from B-Tier:

C-Tier 

Relying on C-Tier heroes to win your matches by bashing the opposing side would be a bad decision. The heroes in C-Tier aren’t exactly useless, they can contribute to the victory but, their limitations can be felt during intense moments of the battle. Here’s the list of C-Tier heroes in Arena of Valor: 

Roxie, Thorne, Omega, Valhein, Lumburr, Marja, Wisp, Mganga, Lindis, Mina, Dirak, and Peura. 

D-Tier 

The inclusion of D-Tier heroes won’t matter much if you’re up against strong opposition. The D-Tier heroes have their uses and effectiveness but, most of the time, they will slow you down and since they aren’t mighty powerful, they cannot do much damage to the opposition as well. F-Tier 

The heroes in the F-Tier are pretty much the worst heroes that you could include in your squad. These heroes are up to no good and if you want to give’em a shot, it’s best to keep them far away from ranked matches. If you have any of the following heroes in your arsenal, we recommend getting rid of them this very second. Here’s a list of F-Tier Heroes in Arena of Valor that you shouldn’t even touch with a 10-foot pole:

Errol, Arum, Gildur, Ishar, Murad, Cresht, Arduin, Natalya, Amily, Toro, Taara, and Veera.
